This video made me realise just how integrated photography will be in our daily life. Having all these technological inventions at your fingertips reflect society’s movement toward an even more fast-paced life, where all your needs can get fulfilled very quickly. With Google Glass finally on the market, people will start to discover ways of interacting with their environment more efficiently. Now, no longer will you have to take your phone out if you need to figure out what direction you’re going. Cameras and the idea of photography, in particular, will drastically change, as many people no longer need to take more time transferring their photos to their computer and uploading it sequentially. Your mobile phones and the recent Google Glass can do all that as you are trying to find another object to be photographed. While digital photography still have a role in the more professional world (e.g. advertising, gallery, etc), the definition of photography in the future could reflect on how visually dependent society is when it comes to perceiving each other’s world.
